Explore Speech Co. is a private practice speech therapy clinic that is owned and operated by Casey Masalehdani.
Casey Masalehdani was born and raised on Long Island, NY. She attended Hofstra University for both her undergraduate and graduate education in speech-language pathology. She has over a decade of experience treating children with speech, language, feeding, and orofacial myofunctional disorders. She has taken over a dozen CEU courses in orofacial myology and feeding therapy.
She serves as a Board Member of the Oral Motor Institute. She is a speaker for the platform The Pediatric Source where she educates other professionals on oral motor/feeding and speech. In 2021, together with her family, she relocated to beautiful Rancho Palos Verdes, California. As she began practicing she noticed a commonality amongst her clients, they were not only exhibiting speech and language issues but also “picky eating”, airway concerns and orofacial myofunctional disorders. She then began dedicating her life to empowering families with knowledge and helping them be their child’s best advocate.

Initial Consultation
An initial consultation is the first step toward helping your child speak, eat, and breathe better. Fill out the information box below with your contact information and include "INITIAL CONSULTATION" in the subject line. You will receive a response within 24-48 hours to schedule the consultation. The consultation will consist of a 15-minute phone call to determine if evaluation services are warranted.
Evaluation Services
Based on the needs of the child the evaluation will consist of a speech-language evaluation, a feeding evaluation, and an assessment of orofacial myofunctional skills (if warranted).
The evaluation will include:
-A detailed intake and case history review
-Observations, checklists, questionnaires
-Formal standardized testing
Therapy Services
Based on the evaluation findings and the family's goals a formal report and treatment plan will be generated.
Referrals will be made to outside professionals as needed. Explore Speech collaborates with medical professionals, teachers, and families. Explore Speech works under a multidisciplinary team model.
