Casey Masalehdani.

 

Explore Speech Co. is a holistic practice that focuses on overall systemic health and well-being.

In order to achieve meaningful and lasting progress, Casey works to identify and treat the root cause of dysfunction.

 

With a compassionate approach, she supports and guides families every step of the way—from the initial phone call through evaluation and into therapy.

 

Casey not only provides expert care but also takes time to listen, validate concerns, and ensure families feel seen, heard, and empowered throughout the process.

Meet Ms. Casey

Casey Masalehdani, M.A., CCC-SLP, TSSLD is a state and nationally certified speech-language pathologist. She received her Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology, with Teacher of Students with Speech Language Disabilities certification from Hofstra University. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association. 

 

Casey has worked in schools, preschools, homes, hospital out patient, and private practice settings. She has over a decade of experience treating children with speech, language, feeding, and orofacial myofunctional disorders.

 

After spending time working in NYC schools followed by a Long Island private practice and preschool, she decided to open her own practice in order to best serve her clients.

 

In order to niche down and become a specialist, Casey has taken an extensive amount of CEU courses in oral motor, orofacial myofunctional and feeding disorders. 

 

After becoming a mother, Casey further understood the challenges families may face when seeking support for their child with a delay/disorder.

 

Casey prides herself in being a kind and compassionate listener, supporting the family as well as the client. 

​

Casey is an advocate for children and their families. She is an avid reader of research and is constantly taking additional courses to help support her caseload.

 

Casey is a speaker for the platform, The Pediatric Source- where she educates other professionals on oral motor development, feeding and speech.

In her free time, Casey enjoys traveling, going to the beach and making memories with her family.

Our comprehensive evaluation process begins with gathering a detailed case history and includes the use of screeners, checklists, formal assessments, and criterion-referenced tools. We incorporate photo and video documentation when appropriate to support thorough analysis. Once the evaluation is complete, we generate individualized goals and develop a customized treatment plan tailored to your or your child's unique needs.

We offer a wide range of therapy and consultation services tailored to meet individual needs. Our areas of expertise include oral motor therapy, feeding therapy, orofacial myofunctional therapy, speech and language therapy, dyslexia intervention, fluency (stuttering) support, and voice therapy.
